The Community Radio Fund of Canada is pleased to launch the 8th round of funding for its long-awaited Radiometres program.

Radiometres aims to achieve three long-term results for the campus and community radio sector, namely the enhancement of local programming; support, training and retention of volunteers; and community participation. A variety of station's activities can be funded through the program, up to a maximum of $50,000, as long as these activities take place between September 1, 2018 and August 31, 2019 and meet at least one of the program results.

Eligible stations have until March 8, 2018, at 1:00 PM Eastern time to submit their application through the CRFC's new online application management platform (to change the language, please click on the right upper corner of your screen).

Funding for this program is made possible by Canada's private broadcasters through Canadian Content Development (CCD), a funding mechanism established by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC).These contributions play a vital role in the development of the community component of the Canadian broadcasting system.

Please read the 2018 Guidelines for complete program details.
